  • Naivete

    • 1.

All beings throughout time have lived in a state of profound naivete. No one really knows all.

  • Name

    • 1.

A name is essentially a selected vibration, that draws the spirit or life-force in a particular direction, that it may be personalised, focused, and perceived.

  • Nationality

    • 1.

To regard one person, one group, one team and so on, as being the sole representation of an entire country is nationalistic. But unfortunately it is also likely to be biased, prejudiced, or even discriminatory.

  • Nature

    • 1.

Nature and the presence of our true self-nature, appear to have a common essence. The more disconnected we become to outer nature, the more removed we become from our own noble inner-nature, and similarly the same can be said for vice versa.

  • Neediness

    • 1.

Neediness is often an anxious diversion from the immense and all encompassing, yet subtle state of our true nature. If we eat when we are not hungry; do for the sake of doing; desire love and sex to fill our emptiness; want the company of others to assuage loneliness; take drugs to avoid ourselves – then we are creating a distraction from the present and from what we fear is the dark void of our inner state, which in reality is inherently our deepest abode of awareness, peace and fulfilment. The fundamental call underneath such longings is for us to enter a state of being, rather than of seeking or doing.

  • Negative Cult

    • 1.

It often appears fashionable to be cynical, angry and negative in our current society, and unfashionable to be happy or to speak of love and joy. When fashion dictates negativity to us, and yet the innate elements of love and joy are somewhat disfavoured, then there is an element of mass mind control or group-think occurring.

  • Negativity

    • 1.

The amount of negativity in our lives is sometimes an indication of the amount of ego-minded struggle and resistance to flow, change and transcendence.

  • Negotiation

    • 1.

Negotiation from a purely egocentric point of view is based on selfish demand and is inevitably confrontational. However, negotiation is really an opportunity for those involved to learn a deeper reality, through being of service to each other. When we want to serve another, we understand them more from their perspective, we fully listen and we express our truth lovingly. This allows an agreement to be based on appreciation, consideration and awareness, which in turn helps create conciliation, harmony and peace. Negotiations and agreements that have no peace, usually indicates that there has been an excess of selfish involvement.

  • Neutral

    • 1.

If we regard the internal, human state of neutral as being healthy, calm, peaceful, open, non-opinionated, non-reactive, and honourable, then deep down we know how to respond to others and to life with a healthy equanimity. However, if we are overly sensitive, emotional, stressed, prejudiced, intoxicated in any way, overly passionate, liable to project onto others, or already set to be reactive from previous situations and so on, then rather than starting from neutral or zero on a scale of one to ten, we will be starting higher up the scale, and will therefore be more prone to reactive and exaggerated responses. On the other hand, if we have an agenda, we may start with either a minus or a higher number, depending on our bias or inclination. The obvious remedy is for us to return to neutral, and to the state of our true nature. (Please see contemplations on True Nature).

  • Nine at Nine

    • 1.

During many hundreds if not thousands of years, humanity has been told and been conditioned by various so-called authorities, to believe that we are sinful, warfaring, self-centred, greedy, and so on. And although we have largely come to believe these authorities, this is not the truth. Such a negative view is not borne out by ancient tribal teachings, modern scientific enquiry, or even our own everyday observations that look beyond routines and daily stresses. Rather, it can be seen that ultimately, all humanity, all life, and all things, are deeply connected. If we truly begin to recognise our connection, then the earth will become a planet of (h)eart(h) once again. And those coercive, demeaning authorities will lose their control. Perhaps we could begin to reconnect at 9am and 9pm each day, with a 9 minute (or 10 minute or so) prayer-meditation, that radiates our love to all humanity, to all creatures, and to the earth itself. (Please see contemplations on Separation number 4, Media number 2 and all contemplations on Consciousness).
