  • Ultimate

    • 1.

In order for an ultimate universe to be created, perhaps there was also an infinitely clear, open and unlimited beginning, for it would appear that the ultimate could not be created from the finite.

  • Uncertainty

    • 1.

Uncertainty seems to arise not so much from failing to know the external situations of life, but more from not knowing, or being truthful or loving enough with ourselves. The basis of having a more genuine, balanced surety, firstly arises from a greater interior comprehension.

  • Unconditional

    • 1.

An understanding of the unconditional state is difficult to appreciate through the egoic mind, for the ego mind tends to be self-centred and finite, whereas the unconditional is absolute and infinite. However, our pathway to this understanding may be reached in stillness through such things as paradox, intuition, contemplation, surrender, love and truth.

  • Unconscious

    • 1.

Essentially (whether we are aware of it or not) each of us are striving through the process of life, to make conscious the collective unconscious. The more we make conscious the heights and depths of the unconscious, the more we realise the heights and depths of our own true nature, as being undivided from an infinite source.

  • Unexamined Life

    • 1.

Socrates said the unexamined life is not worth living. If we accept his premise, how much of our lives have we examined, in order to make life worth living? Usually, it is very little. Many people tend to live lives dictated by unexamined habits, conditioning, and conformity of family, peers, society, career, money, security, religion, education, popularity, status and so on.

  • Unexpected

    • 1.

Who amongst us can estimate the mysterious, or the infinite forces of the unexpected? And for that reason we may keep wonder in our eyes, and will forever underestimate it.

      ***

  • Unfaithful

    • 1.

Everyone lives continuously with faith, in some manner whether casually or more fundamentally in themselves, someone else, some thing, or the divine. If we are unfaithful in a particular area, then we have placed our faith elsewhere.

  • Unhappiness

    • 1.

Fundamentally, unhappiness is a state of ignorance, unawareness, or forgetfulness of our true nature.

  • Unified Field

    • 1.

At those situations or times we see others, things, and ourselves separately, we are not seeing the unified field, from where all cause issues, and all integration returns. (Please see contemplations on Connection).
