  • Generalisations

    • 1.

If we go about our world seeing others through a cloud of cliches and generalisations, we are already judging, we are already closing the possibility of having any kind of meaningful communion with them.

  • Generous

    • 1.

Though we are often unaware of it, unstinted grace and generosity flows radiantly and constantly, from the open perspective of our life-giving, observer soul. At those extraordinary or subtle times we become aware of our observer soul, we too become open-hearted and open-handed.

  • Genesis

    • 1.

Genetically all life on earth is linked, having a common origin in the earth. And the earth has its origin in the solar system, and the solar system has its origin in the milky way. The milky way has its origin in the universe, and the seed and genesis of the universe probably has its origin beyond all of its expressive forces.

  • Gentleness

    • 1.

By being gentle with ourselves, others, as well as possessions, we are more mindful; we walk in love’s footsteps, we breathe love’s air, and we rest in love’s embrace.

  • Gifts

    • 1.

Life is full of gifts. Human beings are likewise full of gifts. Human beings not only give the gifts of love and kindness but also gifts that are not so attractively packaged, such as the unwanted gifts of insensitivity, short-sightedness, irresponsibility and pointlessness. However, insensitivity can teach us the gift to become sensitively responsive; short-sightedness can teach us to have greater perception, insight and vision; irresponsibility can gift us trust and determination; and pointlessness gives us the gifts of meaning, appropriateness and intention.

  • Give-Receive

    • 1.

A truly potent person can give without thinking of their giving. And a selfless, open, and receptive person naturally receives with an open-hearted love.

  • Goals

    • 1.

A course of action without an authentic goal is often an exercise in futility, as it robs our lives of meaning and purpose. An obvious example of this is that most careers offer meaningless goals rather than offer a testimony to our life purpose and existence.

  • God

    • 1.

Whether we believe in a god or we do not, perhaps the need to visually see a god is founded upon a false premise, for it is apparent that we cannot see a god in only one place or as a separate being. Yet if we take away our need to see a separate god, then we may see a creative principle everywhere, in everyone, and in all things. (Please see contemplation on Creator).

  • Going With The Flow

    • 1.

To initially go in the same direction with someone’s hard-line view we don’t agree with, through focusing on a minor issue we can agree on, but then add our own angle or perspective, can, depending upon the situation, cause their views to be dampened, or perhaps seen with humour, or even reveal their narrow mindedness, or bigotry. In this way, going with the flow, can create a new avenue, rather than a combative response, which causes a roadblock, that can escalate into an upset, argument or worse.
