  • Danger

    • 1.

If ever we find ourselves in danger, then a mindful perception and attention to detail may be able to place us in the eye of the danger (similar to the lull in the eye of the storm), where there is more possibility of a calm awareness of ourselves and our environment. This can cause a deep knowing about where to go, and what to do, without reactively falling into fear.

  • Dark Secrets

    • 1.

What if another discovers our darkest secrets? It says only that we are a human being, subject to various forces of ignorance, just like all other human beings. Yet ultimately a human being, is a novice learning to move out of ignorance, and into a greater light of awareness.

  • Darkness

    • 1.

Darkness is the shadow of light. It is probably a necessary mirror for inner reflection, in order to give depth, meaning and potency to our experience of light.

  • Days

    • 1.

The light and sunlight of this day’s stillness, thoughts, ideas, feelings and actions are carried and projected into the eternal reaches of the universe; surely they live evermore.

  • Death

    • 1.

It is highly likely that the constricting, fearful, habitual, worrying, burdensome conditions created and prolonged by the ego, depletes lifeforce. This in turn causes sickness and ageing, which eventually overwhelms the defences of the body/mind to cause death.

  • Debate

    • 1.

Genuine debate can only truly occur if It is based on being openly aware, with an attitude of curiosity, and a desire to reach for causes, or in other words the truth. However, if anger, ridicule, disrespect, belittling of others on the wrong side of popular thought, as well as blind and irrational upholding of mainstream views and past narratives, are expressed during a debate, then such reactions are likely to be a sign of self-righteous beliefs, rather than a choice to be open. (Please see contemplations on Argument).

  • Debt

    • 1.

Debts are a claim and an obligation between egos. Debt arises where the ego is relied and extended upon. The current banking system is largely founded upon the furtherance of the egoic attributes of selfishness, claim and obligation, and the minimising or forgetting of our true nature.

  • Debut

    • 1.

As an individuated ego, we are continually making our debut, for the ego has no firm foundation. Yet the soul appears to have qualities in common with all, and therefore it has no sense of separateness to require a debut in illusory aloneness.

  • Deceit

    • 1.

Whenever we practice deceit towards another, we are also practicing self-deceit.

  • Decision

    • 1.

By making a considered decision, we are asserting our own authority and independence, and believing in our self-determination. Otherwise, barring lack of information, when we are indecisive, we may still be subconsciously wanting to be dependent, as well as afraid of our own power, and of striking out.
