Lonely
- 1.
Loneliness is usually a sign that we have not yet developed our relationship with our true nature. Or have paid attention to the boundless, interwoven creativity of existence.
Looking
- 1.
The ego tends to be brought forward, when we look with a hard, single-pointed focus. However if we look with a softer focus, taking in more of the peripheral view, the ego tends not to arise and we stay centred. This gives us an indication of our biological-spiritual-psychological context, that the ego tends to see only one thing at a time, whereas our true nature, or observer soul takes an overview.

Looking Within
- 1.
We have been made with the curiosity to look inside – into a book, a box, a world, a sky, a mind, and even a soul; eager to discover the remarkable treasures within. It seems to be how we begin to understand, and integrate ourselves within life, as well as perhaps the universe.

Loss Of Centre
- 1.
At any time we lose our centre, or our balanced way of being (which primarily occurs in our ego relationship with the egos of others) we are moving into the uncertain and unsettling no-man’s land of ego, which has no firm foundation in which to be. The ego can entice us (with an accompanying memory loss of our true nature) and hoist us out of our centre with vanity, false pride and arrogance. Or it can devalue and lower us from our centre (again by not knowing or forgetting our true nature) with condemnation, rejection and low self-worth. We help regain our centre by such things as radiating our love; living in the present; breathing consciously; meditating; being and acting mindfully in stillness, slowness and gentleness; serving others; cultivating happiness, wonder and joy for no reason; and remembering our true nature.
Lost
- 1.
During those times we have the sense we have lost ourselves, it is usually because we have betrayed ourselves in some way. We have turned our back on our true nature within, and therefore our awareness and perception are greatly narrowed.

Love Realm
- 1.
As soon as we leave the love realm of the present moment, and enter into any negative state, we are also leaving the joy and at one ment of the present, for the uncertainty of the states of regret, fear and longing of past or future.
Love-Difficult
- 1.
To love thy neighbour or thy enemy is very difficult, if we attempt to use or force the separating quality of the ego mind to create love. It is preferable we just open our hearts. The clear sign of an open heart is simply the urge to love.
Love-Perverse
- 1.
Many intimate relationships in our society are based on perverse love. This love may have one or more of the following characteristics: Taking for granted the person who is lovingly available. Chasing the person who is indifferent and unavailable. Wanting independence from a lover, whilst at the same time wanting the highest commitment. After the honeymoon phase of relationship, not thinking that we are worthy enough to be loved, and therefore not fully allowing ourselves to be loved, as well as being less loving to our partner. Assuming that the love expressed by another is too good to be true. And therefore thinking that we had better withdraw before we get hurt and rejected, especially when they discover what we are really like. Being attracted to a lover that we think we can dominate. Being attracted to a lover that we think will dominate us. Being attracted to, and wanting to possess the person who most fills our emotional neediness, whilst thinking that this need is love. Believing that we are not able to love fully again because of past hurt. And therefore only being able to offer a reduced version of ourselves to any future lover. Creating games and…read more…
