  • Planet Human

    • 1.

Having an overview of planetary human consciousness, would encompass all other limited points of view. The divisiveness of mankind’s religions, politics, social issues, gender issues, racial, and ecological issues would be understood by the planetary human who creates embrace and spiritual integrity. This view would surely be in keeping with the unconditional view of the observer soul.

  • Playfulness

    • 1.

Adult play is not just meant to be passively watching a movie, television or screen, or going to a restaurant occasionally, drinking with friends, participating in formalised games, or having sex. It naturally has much more to do with the activity of simplicity, innocence, openness, naturalness and wildness. When we play unconditionally, we lose much of our serious self-controlling image, and with it the defensive, judgmental and censuring barriers that largely form adult inhibition and suppression in our socialised existence. These barriers are abandoned for the spontaneous and informal intimacy of play; so that we do not fear being wrong, or undergo performance anxiety, serious competitiveness, or guilt. The body/mind is liberated from daily work routines and habits, and allowed to re-enter an unfettered domain of fun, freedom, fantasy and aliveness. In the rapture of pastime, we are transported beyond the confines of time and into the active life of the present. Play tends to be more social than solitary, and often the best play outside of the individual creative process, involves two or more people, in which we mutually accept and support our playmates in the happiness of play. We are renewed by playfulness, our expression is opened, our…read more…

  • Pleasure

    • 1.

We are wired for a preference to pleasure rather than pain. Our internal circuitry encompasses vast sensitivities that can transport us to a paradise of bliss, and return us with a fountain of ego-annihilating joy.

  • Pledge

    • 1.

The ancient concept of the “pledge” was a sacred contract and obligation held until completion, or for forever. This protected both parties on their life’s journey and likely produced commitment of the highest degree. Perhaps today if there is a lack of commitment, then we may have a need to reaffirm the pledge to our goals, relationships and ideals.

  • Point Of View

    • 1.

Our point of view, is likely to be a limiting force on our perception, beyond our point of view. Therefore, with this in mind, and when interacting with others, we can ask ourselves, or the other, from where did it originate? And then respond with something like, “Given the thoughts that constructed this point of view, it’s quite logical and acceptable.” However, another point of view without such thought constructions could be very different. But are we, or the other, willing to entertain such difference? (Please see contemplations on Perspective, Truth, Conditioning, Confirmation Bias, Reason, Beliefs and Fact).

  • Political Correctness

    • 1.

Western societies in particular have been experiencing the beliefs and philosophies of Postmodernism, Posthumanism, along with political correctness and social justice ideologies. However, through such beliefs and philosophies, we are disregarding the ancient, coherent principles of truth, upon which nature and humanity operate (which includes the main sources of gaining knowledge for human beings, namely observation and coherent reasoning). Furthermore, believing that there is only relativism or interpretations of truth (which often includes contradictions, such as the relative can be considered more truthful, or in other words, more certain rather than relative) as well as that free speech should be curtailed, in order to promote equity, is all likely to be endangering the foundations of knowledge and awareness, as well as deluding ourselves, others and possibly society at large.

  • Politics

    • 1.

Above and beyond the absurdity of completely right versus completely wrong, competing tribal political views with their media endorsers, that fiercely follow one political party, or one leader over another, stands the unvarnished, coherent, yet non-aligned truth. The truth is much more applicable than any political bias, identity politics, vested interests, or of any limiting mainstream, orthodox, fundamental, or radical ideologies based on such things as race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, class, occupation, education, and so on. The truth must be allowed its overarching position, no matter who or what tribal, warring factions, or fundamentalist beliefs and ideas campaigning for left, right, or centre, hold. When we deeply examine all of this, we may come to the realisation that it is a never-ending local and global theatre for the masses, which continually divides humanity, by promoting opinions disguised as facts, rather than having aware and conscious appraisal. Ideally, shouldn’t politics strive to uphold humanitarian values for all, including a humane consideration towards the environment we universally inhabit? (Please see contemplations on Political Correctness and Opinion).
