Moderation
- 1.
In many situations, moderation is the point of balance and justice between the extremes of avoidance or excess.
Moment
- 1.
The eternal moment is imperturbably composed. There are no questions, no answers, only omnipresence.

Monkey Mind
- 1.
Some spiritual practitioners say to calm the chattering, monkey mind by giving it a job to focus on, particularly to focus on the breath at the nostrils, which can lead to a meditative calm. This is a very useful meditative focus. Another way to a centred, calming, whole mind and body practice, is to place the focus upon the middle of the chest and heart, as much as possible throughout the day, so that a slightly palpable sense Is felt there, whilst also breathing softly. This both enlightens and enlivens our heart energy, which some Scientists now regard as being a second brain. This practice tends to bring peace to ourselves, as well as compassion in our approach towards all others and nature.
Monopoly
- 1.
Wherever monopolies have existed, predictable consequences occur, such as tendencies of over-control both internally within the organisation and externally over large parts of society, along with a lack of openness, which attracts like-minded people and organisations with similar controlling and financial interests to broaden their base. Monopolies survive by having strict hierarchical levels of control over all in-house members, staff, managers and so on, that usually have a strong networking connection to various institutions such as government, banks, media, universities and so on, which themselves are also greater or lesser forms of monopolies.
Monotony
- 1.
Every year, every month, every day, every hour, every minute, every moment, every breath, every sound, every sight, is new. And yet we wash it over with a habitual belief that it is all known, and often the same. In this monotony, we deny ourselves the wonder of life. Do we really need to step into those same tight-fitting, attitudinal garments each day?
Morality
More
- 1.
Frequently, more seems to lead to a desire for even more, until we realise that the more may be harmful to us. For example when we eat more, we often desire to eat even more. Similarly for drink, drugs, money, power and so on. The more inevitably leads to a loss of our inner centred state, and its replacement with a more addictive or unconscious state.

More Or Less
- 1.
There appears to be a strong correlation between the degree of the forces of more or less, internally and externally, which largely determine the makeup of our life. For example, the more we yearn for the attention of fame, the less inwardly content we are. The more we seek the riches of the outside world, the less we have realised our internal wealth. The more we habitually seek love externally, the less we know love within. The more cut-off we are in our communications with others, the less we lovingly know ourselves. The more we are externally emotional, the less we are genuinely feeling within. The more we seek power, status and self-importance, the less inner potency, humility, and worthwhile we believe we are.
Motivation
- 1.
Motivation wells up from an inner passion that inspires us into action, and moves us to our goal. However, if emotions such as apathy, anxiety, boredom, confusion, guilt, shyness, depression, loneliness, rejection, self pity, sadness and worry predominate in our lives, then motivation will be lacking. When we lack motivation, we have forgotten that noble awareness is our true nature, we have forgotten the commitment to our own dream, we have forgotten gratitude, and we have forgotten to love.
