| Debate 1

Genuine debate can only truly occur if It is based on being openly aware, with an attitude of curiosity, and a desire to reach for causes, or in other words the truth. However, if anger, ridicule, disrespect, belittling of others on the wrong side of popular thought, as well as blind and irrational upholding of mainstream views and past narratives, are expressed during a debate, then such reactions are likely to be a sign of self-righteous beliefs, rather than a choice to be open. (Please see contemplations on Argument).
