Control
12 Contemplations on Control - More >>- 1.
Many of us want to control our lives, as well as control the lives of those close to us. We want to stay ahead of what we regard as the forces of chaos in the world. But by doing so, we are likely avoiding the forces of grace, relaxation and deep surrender to the omnipresence of life.

Convention
Conversation
- 1.
Conversation at its most sublime is an art. The art of conversation lies in the ability to join to the stillness of presence, with our notes of inspiration and insight, in order to create our part in a symphony. From out of the infinite crucible of silence, arise the notes and colours of our perception. By thinking, speaking and acting, we translate our perception into the vitality of the moment’s communion.

Conviction
- 1.
A blind, closed opinion will form a blind, closed conviction. Without being open to Truth, we will not be able to make progress through our own awareness and understanding.
Coordinates
- 1.
The timing and meeting of people, nature, sun, moon, stars, and all events and experiences, are ultimately the cross roads or coordinates of our reality, which create particular experiences in awareness for all forms of consciousness.
- 2.
People, things, events, and the natural world appear to enter our lives, at precisely important, timely coordinates. These occurrences are catalysts in terms of our growing awareness, though we may not always realise their full significance at the time. Furthermore, they may enter into the pattern of our life, under our stewardship and protection. And therefore they partake of the experiences we offer, for example a child we bring into the world, or an animal we adopt. Yet we also have a responsibility for their welfare, so that they may gain the highest coherence from our pattern of life.
Coping Ability
- 1.
If our ability to tolerate or adjust to change is set too low, then we will inevitably experience upset and stress, which will likely affect those we work or live with. Furthermore, we will also tend to live our lives around a narrow, rigid and select pole of options.

Corruption
- 1.
The garnering of wealth and power along with the associated complexity, structure and inner knowledge associated with such wealth and power, particularly in large organisations, means that all too often corruption occurs in order to keep the public view of stability, momentum and growth alive. This need for stability and growth occurs as an absolutist philosophy and mission statement, but is also perceptually broadcast to those outside of the inner circle of power, in order for them to keep faith. Consequently, corruption occurs in all large organizations including governments, corporations, institutions, and religions, though most of it is hidden. Perhaps only when human beings reach a level of self-mastery and sovereignty, will we be able to cease pandering to elites, or on the other hand, mistreating others we regard as being lesser than ourselves.
