| Corruption
- 1.
The garnering of wealth and power along with the associated complexity, structure and inner knowledge associated with such wealth and power, particularly in large organisations, means that all too often corruption occurs in order to keep the public view of stability, momentum and growth alive. This need for stability and growth occurs as an absolutist philosophy and mission statement, but is also perceptually broadcast to those outside of the inner circle of power, in order for them to keep faith. Consequently, corruption occurs in all large organizations including governments, corporations, institutions, and religions, though most of it is hidden. Perhaps only when human beings reach a level of self-mastery and sovereignty, will we be able to cease pandering to elites, or on the other hand, mistreating others we regard as being lesser than ourselves.
