Perhaps the most fundamental quality, that every human being desires, is to be recognised for who they truly are. To be seen, is to be deeply confirmed in our reason for being, because something within us, or our actions in the world have become visible to another. To truly see and acknowledge another human being, is perhaps the greatest gift we can give to each other, and may even precede the blossoming awareness of love. However, to be seen, is something we can only really offer to someone else, we cannot go looking for it from others. Therefore if our focus is primarily upon wanting to be seen, then our ability to see the uniqueness and individuality of others, or indeed our ability to love them, will likely be lacking or reduced.

Today on Earth, over 380,000 people were born. Whilst a total of 155,000 people died, including 50,000 who died of cardiovascular disease, 30,000 who died of hunger, 20,000 who died of cancer, 3,500 who died in traffic accidents, 2,000 committed suicide, and 1000 were murdered. Today, one hundred and fifty million land animals were slaughtered for food, which is nearly 5000 per second. It has also been estimated that up to 2.7 trillion wild fish are caught each year, meaning that tens of billions of fish were caught today, including a large percentage of by-catch. In the vast arrangement of a universe containing countless galaxies, supernovae, black holes, pulsars, comets, and stellar clouds of suns, moons and planets, the fact that our lover has left the top off the toothpaste tube….well, yes, it may be true, but it doesn’t bear thinking about does it?

Whatever is topical in our daily ruminations or concerns can sometimes be reflected or semi-cloaked in others or in situations in the outer world. With the realisation of this knowledge, we can learn more about our personal issues from external, and occasionally contrary perspectives.

In touching our body, we are touching the elements of the stars. We are touching the centre of the alpha and omega of infinite expression. We are touching the blossom of primordial conception. And perhaps ultimately, we are touching the genesis of universal omniscience.

Although deep down we may believe that there can always be some kind of redemption with another we have difficulties with, sometimes we may need to avoid particular people who are largely unconscious, as well as mentally and emotionally toxic because of an overly aggressive, selfish or dominating ego. Ultimately the redemption may not come until later as souls, when we are able to see with a greater awareness, and perhaps even a sense of humour around our previous life roles on earth.

Every transaction contains within it the seasonal flow of the earth and beyond. Whatever is claimed in a human transaction, is a contractual portrayal of the awareness of those involved.

On the galactic level, the universe appears to be in deep stillness, yet also an ocean of change that is constantly emerging, unfolding and transcending. And likewise life on earth, including ourselves, is emerging, unfolding and constantly moving to transcendence.
