  • Denial

    • 1.

If we continually deny ourselves, we shall be denying others as well as ourselves the fruits of our truth and our happier experiences. And if we similarly deny others, we may be denying their happiness and truth, as well as our own.

  • Depression

    • 1.

Whenever we are depressed, rather than fall or remain subconsciously within it, or condemn ourselves for it, we could be gentle and ask, “Why am I depressed?” The question then starts to work as a solution. We expose our depression for what it is – that largely it is because our ego wants to be fully considered, well regarded, or something is not going our way, but the ego may be powerless to bring this about. For support with depression please phone your local Mental Health organisation.

  • Design

    • 1.

The structure and form of something is usually indicative not only of its essence, but also of the mind in which it was conceived. The greater the harmony, symmetry and beauty of design, the greater the awareness of mind that created it.

  • Desire

    • 1.

We can approach a desire from a lower position, such as a hoping or beseeching place; or head on, such as a wilful, forcing place; or we can approach from a higher, relaxed, embracing, knowing place, where the desire is seen to be part of a larger vision that we have, in which case we give ourselves the potency of power to complete, rather than work with the possibility of failure that comes from hoping, forcing or fearing.

  • Destiny

    • 1.

Our original destiny, the reason why we came here, is likely to be greater than all other circumstances.

  • Destruction

    • 1.

All things, all people, animals, plants, and so on, have in some form originated from the very beginnings of the universe, 13.75 billion years ago. Therefore the act of destroying nature, ancient architecture, age-old works of art, human beings or animals, is a one-way repugnant act. For we cannot bring them back, or recreate them, as they truly were.

  • Detachment

    • 1.

We are not so easily swayed by the demands of our ego, or the egos of others, when we are detached. When being detached, we are principally detached from ego, and therefore detached from the largely self-created pain and uncertainty, outside of the inherent loving state, of our true nature.

  • Determined

    • 1.

Are we aware of the factors that define our purpose, when we become determined? And are these factors open or closed to other input? Being closed whilst being determined will likely narrow our ability, purpose and success.

  • Devotion

    • 1.

Through the act of conscious surrender, we naturally enter a greater, soulful perspective, where all life can be viewed devotionally, without need or attachment.
