Schedule
- 1.
If we live life always according to a schedule, timetable or race, we will miss out on watching ants, speaking to clouds, and listening to rocks, as well as all the infinite, spontaneous, serendipitous and synchronistic delightful by-ways that life constantly offers.
Schizophrenia
- 1.
To a greater or lesser extent we all experience the schizophrenia of the ego personality versus the conscience of our true nature. The marriage of the two may produce a state of individuated conscient consciousness and beyond.
Science
19 Contemplations on Science - More >>- 1.
During the last few hundred years, science formulated a system of logic and principles that was basically closed to other methods of investigation and perception. This system is no longer appropriate (even according to science, particularly theoretical physics).

Seasons
- 1.
In all things there is the reflection of its seasonal nature. To see only one seasonal aspect, is not it in its entirety, as the rest of it embraces infinity and eternity.
Secret
- 1.
A secret that hides truth is bound sooner or later to be exposed, for the universal interconnections of truth will be revealed somewhere and at some time. Any key to opening the door to understanding and meaning, must by universal necessity, logic and compassion, be made available. Truth cannot be exclusive.
Security
- 1.
Natural security arises when we know more of our true nature, and therefore our goals tend to be more defined with integrity. This creates confidence, freedom, and peace of mind from the insecurity, anxiety, and confusion of an unknown state and an unknown direction.

- 5.
If our confidence, personality, status, wealth, beliefs, truth, love, and path in life are dependent upon some form of security (or insecurity) then the foundation of our life is a compact forged in fear, self-doubt and not being good enough, rather than in love.
Seduction
- 1.
Most of us have probably played the game of seduction, by making sure we look our most alluring, even though we may not be fully interested in gaining intimacy or love with another. Behind it, the ego is foremost looking to be admired and desired.
Seeing Ourselves
- 1.
We are obviously not anatomically designed to see our own face or back, except through a reflective surface. This suggests that we cannot see ourselves directly, and any oblique view, can only ever be indirect. Is this because if we were able to truly see ourselves directly, with full knowing and insight, that we would experience some kind of awakening realisation about ourselves and our life’s purpose? Interestingly there is a passage in the bible, where god says to moses, that you cannot see my face, for no man shall see me and live. Perhaps we too would not live, at least not as we did before, if we saw the true depths of our own being. The question then is, how much of ourselves are we deeply seeing, as we go about our daily life? The answer is probably very little, particularly if we take into account the large amount of time we spend in self-centred ego thoughts and emotions, along with time spent in automatic and habitual routines and work life.
