  • Gold

    • 1.

If all things were made of gold, would we be more appreciative of their value? The trees, the flowers, the rivers, oceans, mountains, valleys, the sky and stars. Surely our answer would be no; so why then are we as a civilisation, alchemically spinning the lifeblood of nature, into baubles, trinkets, currency and gold?

  • Gossip

    • 1.

Regardless of what someone has said or even thought behind our back, it is largely not our business. Eventually we realise that we cannot correct everyone’s perception. If we can approach gossips with love, then there is a possibility that eventually they will implode through their own hypocrisy, guilt, self-condemnation and regret. They will want to return to their own state of love once more and to do this, at some point they know they will have to make amends.

  • Government

    • 1.

The possessors of authority in our society must also possess ears, that they may truly listen. Hearts, that they may have compassion, understanding and the love of people to carry through with their promises. Eyes, that they may behold the consequences of their power, the ability to see injustice, and the vision to lead towards the greater good. If they do not have these senses, their authority will be dictatorial, and consequently they rule without permission. Their mandate to the people will not be fulfilled, and therefore they cannot demand our compliance.

  • Grace

    • 1.

At those heightened moments we experience life’s grace, we touch the omnipresence beyond self-presence, where we are consciously accompanied by our true nature or observer soul.

  • Greed

    • 1.

No matter how much greed we face the world with, there will never be enough outside to fill the ego emptiness inside. Instead, each of us is responsible for repeatedly bringing to blossom and harvest, an inner crop of love.

  • Greeting

    • 1.

If someone asks, “How are you?” we have one of two responses – of the ego or our true nature. Therefore it is an opportunity to re-identify with our genuine state, so that this becomes the self-determining truth of the moment. It is an opportunity to re-enter the present, and to leave the illusory, constricting, inflated or deflated ego states, which continually and obsessively look for sympathetic support.
