The desire to convert another to our own point of view, is largely a sign of acting out of insecurity. The primary hope seems to be, that another’s acceptance of our view will help to confirm it. Fundamentally though, we have not come to a realisation of our inner loving truth, from which a state of grace arises that precludes the need to convert.
