Regardless of an apparent situation, it is humanely preferable to initially regard the other person as innocent. For premeditated blame, and any consequential, highly charged, reciprocating blame between parties, only intensifies a confrontation. When we approach the other calmly, with inquiry rather than blame, we can then more fully ascertain the truth of a situation. Emotionally charged blame and counter-blame has been the biggest cause of upset, conflict and war in the world.
