| Status Symbols 1
A car can often be considered to be a status symbol, as can designer label clothing, shoes, baggage, jewellery, cosmetics and perfumes, amongst many other things. But these status symbols are a status based on money, not on any kind of honour or integrity. They can often reflect a purchasers conditioning, a belief that they have made it, according to societal standards, as well as an insecure yearning to impress others.
