| Resentment 1

Resentment occurs from a perception of inequality, or that something we expected did not eventuate, and therefore we believe that we were not understood or valued enough by others.
Resentment often precedes wanting to get even through revenge. Consequently if we focus on resentment, we will likely seek revenge. Alternatively, it is preferable for us to re-focus on our deeper aspirations, whilst taking into account the lesson and meaning of our failed expectation.
