An obstinate temperament finds it difficult to open to new possibilities or to change beyond the narrow confines of an overly rigid set of boundaries. Such a person wants to dictate their beliefs and values on to the world and to close off to all other possible factors. But ultimately no person can be at such odds with the world and win.
