| Labelling 1

Behind any disapproving label we dispense about another, for example critical or offensive terms about another’s race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, disfigurement, physical appearance, intelligence, and so on, there is inevitably a deeper, irrationally conditioned fear of difference. Once we focus with awareness on this irrationally conditioned fear that is motivating the label, we can begin to bring our ignorance to a realisation and change of awareness.
