Anyone who has a job description of Fact-checker, or believes themselves to be a Fact-checker, can only fulfil their job description by being open to all avenues, research and investigation, whilst being suspicious of any form of prevarication, otherwise they will only be confirming their bias, or the bias of their corporate employer.
