Early on Saturday, we invited a friend by phone to our house for a cup of tea at noon.
The phone was first invented about a 150 years ago, and is now manufactured using a combination of elements and components from various countries.
In Sri Lanka a few months ago, premium tea leaves were picked early in the morning, in order to preserve their natural oils, and then last week we bought a box of this tea from our local supermarket.
Pottery was first invented around 25,000 years ago, with our stoneware cups and saucers being hand-made and kiln fired in China during three stages, for about 10 hours each at 1200 degrees celsius.
