| Going With The Flow 1

To initially go in the same direction with someone’s hard-line view we don’t agree with, by focusing on a minor issue we can agree on, but then add our own angle or perspective, can cause their views to be dampened, or seen with humour, or even reveal their narrow mindedness. In this way, going with the flow, can create a new avenue, rather than a combative response, which causes a roadblock, that can escalate into an upset, argument or worse.
